SERVICES
Custom Milling/ Design/ Application
The staff at American Antique Lumber will assist contractors, architects, homeowners and woodworkers in the design and application of our antique material. This service helps in the selection of certain materials for different applications. Antique timbers, siding, and dimensional stock can be selected in our yard and tagged for application in your structure. This eliminates the hassle of on-site sorting and guess work, reducing waste and creating more efficient installs.
With access to a re-saw mill, as well as a molding/flooring mill and kiln, we also offer these resources for our customers' benefit. Everything from custom sawing to engineered stair treads and kiln drying is available.

Reclaimed woods can be a challenge to apply to your project. We have years of experience in construction, application and design. We will be happy to assist in getting you the best results in using this material. This can start with the design process. We will be happy to look at your plans or help create one.

Application techniques can add to the look of authenticity and can vary from project to project. Using hand hewn timbers has its challenges due to its box heart nature and rough texture. We can assist with application techniques for any project, from very rustic to the most modern designs.

DELIVERY
American Antique Lumber Company will provide direct delivery within 250 miles of Montrose, Colorado. Load capacity is up to 2,500 board feet for hardwoods and 3,000 board feet for soft woods, with lengths up to 25 feet. A mileage charge will apply to all deliveries from our yard.
For distances beyond 250 miles, shipping can be arranged through AAL. We strive to find the most fuel efficient method of shipping. At times it can be easier and more cost-effective to do one big load instead of several smaller loads; of course there can be challenges either way.
