White Oak is known for its high density, strength and durability. It has a cellular structure that makes it resistant to moisture, rot, and decay. White Oak is considered a sustainable building product choice because of the abundance of trees paired with responsible harvesting practices ensuring its continued availability.
American Antique Lumber has over 20,000 board feet available. These white oak timbers have been harvested, milled and sticker stacked to dry for over a year. Sizes range from 6x6 - 10x12. Custom sizes may be cut to order. This material has a rough sawn texture with surface checking and brown to grey patina.
These timbers look exceptional wire brushed, sanded, or even planed to a smooth texture and would be great for any interior or exterior post and beam construction or accent timbers.
